Welcome to Raiders Netball Club
Part of the Redlands Netball Association
Our Presidents Welcome
Welcome to the Raiders Netball Club Redlands Inc (members of the Redlands Netball Association). At Raiders Netball Club, we pride ourselves on being a family friendly, local netball club, where everyone is welcomed and valued.
We provide the opportunity for junior netballers, from under 7’s right through to 19 year olds, to experience the fun and enjoyment of learning and playing netball regardless of any previous experience or skillset. Whilst we aim to produce skilled players and provide competitive teams, our core aim is for all players to enjoy their netball experience.
If you are new to our club, we especially welcome you. Please take the opportunity to get involved in our community in any way you can.
Nicole Wilson – President

As a local netball club, we are continually seeking new players from the age of 7 to cadets. Our season runs from March to September each year with sign on usually at the end of January to early February.
In addition to new players we also provide training for coaches, umpires and supporters, assisted by the Redlands Netball Association. Our coaches and umpires are all accredited through Netball QLD and are involved in regular training to improve their skills.
“To increase participation in the sport of netball in the Northern Redlands and bayside region and to provide a platform for participants to develop into the best players possible, whilst maintaining a family orientated and supportive culture.”

Raiders Netball club has been in existence for over 25 years. The club was originally known as the Capalaba Raiders Netball Club and was located at the Capalaba Sporting Grounds where the skate park now stands. In 2002 we relocated and joined the Mooroondu Sports and Rec Club in Thorneside to ensure the continued growth of the club and to return netball to Mooroondu. In 2019 we were able to field a record 16 teams in the Redlands Netball Association (RNA) competition.
2020 Season – Congratulations to the Raiders teams who played in the finals. Awesome effort from all the players, coaches, managers, parents and support crew.
For the second year in a row the Raiders Netball Club have won the Cadet Division 1 competition. Well Done!
